About the blog

The Kraków Blog is run by two Satoria Group hotels in Kraków: Best Western Plus Kraków Old Town on Świętej Gertrudy Street, right by the Planty park, and Hotel Regent on Bożego Ciała Street in Kazimierz. We have been writing since 2014.

What we write about

Places, history and legends of Kraków, food and events, as well as practical matters: how to get here, when to come and what to see in a day. We write for visitors spending a few days in Kraków and for residents who want to get to know the city better. Selected articles are available in English and German.

How our articles are made

• We check facts at the source: on the websites of museums, institutions, the city and transport operators.
• When we update an article, we show the update date next to the publication date.
• In new and updated articles, walking times are calculated with OpenStreetMap.
• We do not publish room rates or hotel offers. Current prices and offers are always on the hotels’ websites.
• Some photos come from Wikimedia Commons. We use them in line with their licences.

Older articles

The archive holds almost 400 articles from 2014–2025, most of them in Polish. We check and update the most-read ones. In older articles, opening hours, ticket prices or timetables may have changed, so please check them at the source before your visit.
