Kraków Blog

Accessibility

This page describes how the Kraków Blog (www.bwkrakow.pl/nablogu) and its “Plan your stay” box meet accessibility requirements. The blog is run by Satoria Group S.A., ul. Mangalia 1a, 02-758 Warsaw, Poland.

What we offer

The blog publishes free articles about Kraków in Polish, and selected articles in English and German. Some articles include a “Plan your stay” box. You choose your arrival date, departure date and number of guests, and the button opens the booking page of Best Western Plus Kraków Old Town or Hotel Regent in a new tab, with your dates filled in. You do not book or pay for anything on the blog, and the box does not collect personal data. Prices, available rooms and booking terms are shown on the hotel’s booking page.

How to use the box

  • Every field has a visible label. You can type a date or pick it in your browser’s calendar.
  • The departure date must be later than the arrival date. If it is not, a message appears below the field and is also read out by screen readers.
  • The box also works with JavaScript turned off.

How the blog meets accessibility requirements

We design and test the blog and the box against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA, which cover the requirements of the EN 301 549 standard. Our latest assessment was carried out on 20 October 2026: a manual review and automated tests.

  • You can use every page and the box with a keyboard, and the focused element is clearly visible.
  • Text and links meet the colour contrast requirements.
  • Images in articles have text alternatives.
  • Pages can be zoomed to 400% and read on a narrow screen without horizontal scrolling.
  • Each page is in one language, and the language is marked in the code.

Known limitations

  • Older articles (2014–2020) may have less detailed image descriptions than new ones.
  • The look of the date picker depends on your browser.
  • Hotel booking pages are not part of the blog. Please ask the hotel directly about their accessibility.
